These seats offered to foreign nationals (also PIO, OCI, NRI) will be treated as supernumerary.

  1. The NRI/PIO/OCI/Foreign National response is not clear. Could you please elaborate ? Specifically can you answer the following :

1.Can OCI students join IITs like any Indian Nationals or are there any restrictions ?
2.Is the IIT fee structure different for OCI students ?
3.Are there any quotas for OCI students in any IITs ?
4.Are IIT admission eligibility criteria for OCI students same as any Indian National ?
    5.What is a supernumerary seat ?
